TEX the Horse needs a home
Tex is a 11-year-old Quarter Horse who was transferred to Longmeadow from another rescue. He was an unhandled stallion when he arrived at Longmeadow, but has since been gelded and is ready to find his forever home.
We have found Tex has some significant scarring on his withers. Even with chiropractic care he hasn''t been comfortable wearing a saddle. We are now adopting Tex out as a companion only horse, with no riding in his future. He is an easy keeper in the pasture and friendly. He gets along with other horses and will be a great buddy.
